She Fought the Fight

We Will Always Remember & LOVE GAIL

In December 2016, Gail Hamilton was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The prognosis for this type of cancer, with treatment, is about 9 months.

Gail fought and lived... really lived, in spite of the cancer, for 22 months.

On October 18, 2018, Gail left this life and ran into the arms of her Savior, Jesus.

Thousands of people have come to know Gail's story, and have been inspired, awe struck, moved and challenged by reading her blog, along with the blog of her husband, Don.  Gail, Don, and their family have been astounded by the impact their story has had on others, and there are no words to express how much your prayers and support have meant, and continue to mean to them.  You have held them up.

Legacy.

Gail's ministry and passion over the past few years has been Gail's Girls, a mission to educate, train,

and equip women leaders in Southeast Asia.  It was her desire to continue this ministry, and that is what we intend to do.  Below is a link to the Gail's Girls website where you can learn more and become part of Gail's Legacy.

Gail's blogs will be maintained on this site for all to read.  Don intends to continue sharing his journey.

Thank you for loving Gail!

Don's Journey

Two years ago, I walked the 500-mile journey across Spain, known as “The Camino Way.”  I can tell you, 500 miles is a long way to walk!  I experienced and learned many valuable lessons along the Way to Santiago.  But perhaps the most profound of all was si...

Don's Journey

The statement “fear not” is found many times in the Bible.  Usually the term is used by a representative of God, such as an angel, speaking to a person.  If you are sincerely making an effort to follow God, He reassures us that we need not live in fear.  U...

Gail's Journey

I recently wrote a blog to share about the new door God has opened for me.  In that blog I explained that my family and I are working with Stadia Church Planting and a mission working in Southern Asia called Enhance.  When I was asking God what else He wa...

Don's Journey

I was reading excerpts from some of C.S. Lewis' writings this morning.  As some of you may know, Lewis lost his wife, Joy, and wrote about it extensively.  As always with Lewis, his thoughts are deep, raw, and honest.  Lewis talked about Joy and described...
